    Wow.

My county is not known for giving lots of damages. One of the biggest ever here was 925k. Of course no one died, but I just couldn’t see much breaking a million here.

I'm right here on the GA/AL border, and both Muscogee County (GA) and Russell County right across the river in AL are notoriously plaintiff-friendly venues, a good number of seven figure verdicts in both.

This seems appropriate since it’s Tom Petty.

So a friend and I are talking about starting a country band that does Zep covers with the musicians dressed like the Clampetts from The Beverly Hillbillies. We're going to call it "Jed Zeppelin." She's going to be Ellie May Plant. I'm going to be Jethro Page. We need to find Granny Bonham and Jed Paul Jones. And a thug manager for the Peter Grant-Drysdale role. I think we can get gigs!

One of the all-time best bits on that show. The Lucky character was brilliant, and getting Tom to voice him was perfect.

Never really paid attention to it before, but that Supro trem pedal, on the harmonic setting, sounds pretty damn good in demos.

And don't even try to listen to Temple of the Dog...it just hits too close.

Hope everyone had a good holiday.

Just want to toss out a hello to the boat. I was on a vacation with my son to Florida and got way behind and am now experiencing low-level anxiety about being hundreds of pages out of loop. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Boat on. It may take a while for me to reach the present tense if I make it at all.

Sadly, when I got home and played on it a bit it had some nasty oscillation, so it appears it's got a dead transistor in there. It's on its way back to the mothership for a tuneup and a battery kill switch installation.

I also just snagged a Faceless De Sade fuzz from his latest run, so that'll be here in the next few weeks as well. Years of Erskin's praise finally wore me down. I love a good MkI.

Bummer about the Blackstrap (but smart idea on the battery switch). Very cool about the De Sade.

Nice. I'm still holding my breath that they bring the 6 wagon to the states. Our 2012 3 hatchback is still running strong at 150000 miles, but it's getting to be time. Why does no one give us station wagons anymore?

Time for me to start saving money... I need a good vacation. And for when the next thing goes wrong with my Jeep. First thing I'm doing when I'm done with my Bachelor's and I hopefully have a decent paying job (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) is getting a vehicle that doesn't piss me off.
