aarrrgggh...i just missed out on tickets to see Wilco at the 9:30 Club in DC. :FM

9:30 has a 1200 person max...usually I only see acts there as they finally start to get some popularity (Ryan Adams - Gold) or as big as they are going to be (Gillian Welch). Last time I saw Wilco they played at a place 3 times as big. :bummed:

I got lucky and scored tickets to see Kathleen Edwards in Mar. at a funky little club that holds ~100 people. She's returning to her old stomping grounds (Wakefield, Quebec) for a couple of shows.

Interesting... I have a C-Rex/Red Fang combo in one of my Avatar's, and have been thinking about swapping out the Rex for a Hellatone 30 that I have sitting in an Avatar Vintage 1x12. The H30 farts out with my Victory, so it seems like this might be a worthwhile move all the way around. Weekend project.

That is the exact combo I have in my Avatar 2x12 for my Ampeg V2. I love that combination. From time to time I have considered getting other speakers but it sounds sooo good I don't mess with it. Alnico, ceramic, chimey, smokey -- :dude

Which combo are you referring to... Red Fang with C-Rex, or Hellatone 30?

EDIT: Nevermind, just spotted it in your sig. :jo

I cant believe I forgot to mention my favorite artist. I don't know if he is considered alt-country, but I've got to put his name out there.
    Charlie Sexton.
"Cruel and Gentle Things" gets better everytime I listen to it.

Hey, Falcon boys, any guess/estimate/idea what those are worth on average?

Someone on CP board asked him what kind of Squier is that (looks pretty much like 100-150$ new ones) and he replied he has no idea and he'd have to ask a friend who gave it to him!

And last night, I played a gig with the Tim stacked into the PE Experience.
    They worked really well together!

    - Amp tone
    - Tim for rhythm girth
    - Tim boost for lead work
    - Tim Boost off/PE Fuzz on for sustaining leads
    - Octavia on for one song, with lots of reverb (a gorgeous lead tone)

The decal to me looks 80s- certainly recent series have totally different logos from that one.

No idea on actual worth, but I've seen them go for about 3-500 on the e-bay...amazingly there is a BIN one for 1100 or something like that...

I would try one of those...but vintage amps scare me, and I'm not too familiar with the techs in my town:eek:
