    Cool Tele.

I just got a MIJ 60's Tele Custom with Bigsby Candy Apple Red. Installed an ElectroSocket Jack. Going to put in a No Load Tone Pot and RS Guitarworks volume pot, and Fralin Unbucker in the neck and a Blues Special in the bridge. Cant wait til it is done. I'll post pics when It's finished with upgrades.

Pedalfreak: sounds lovely... I've got a set of Fralins in the mail as we speak; an upgrade for my much loved Frankenstein Thinline.

crap. Just bought a Moho modded Rat II to compare to the freakshow. I like the Freakshow, but I gotta try. Curiosity's a *****.

Anyone compared the Echotap to the Memory Man? I'm thinking about trying the memory man, because I'm really only using 300 MS of the echotap, i'm not using the tap tempo feature at all, and I think it'd be nice to get the chorus effect from the Memory Man, with a tocuh more analog warmth.

I haven't compared it to the Echotap, but I did own a DMM. I ultimately replaced it with a Memory Lane. Hard to explain, but it had a bit of metallic edge to it that I couldn't get past at the time. The ML solves that (more headroom, perhaps?), but the DMM has a certain mojo that's hard to deny. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one, or own another. Its reputation is well deserved.

Have a black pick guard, set of T-Bear '53 pickups, and control plate...going to add an Allparts Fat neck (which I will finish) and Glendale bridge plate and saddles.

That pic of Realfi's gets me everytime I see it.

I think that shade of blonde on a blackguard is the best...actually I like that shade of blonde on all teles whiteguards and slab boards too.

Actually, a tele in any color is already cool...:)

    Hi Roman!

Fellow austrian here. Funny that you mention HP Zinker! I just asked their Bass player Uwe to join my alt. country band. If you should come too Vorarlberg drop me a line and we can hang out and talk gear.

    Cheers,
    Kiyoshi

I'll try to get a pic and/or report on Chuck's pedalboard, and pass along netraam's regards.

Now I've just got to stop dinking around online and get some work done today....

Thanks for the reminder. I'm gonna try to make it.

How are you liking your Sugar Baby, missfortune? I'm real close to picking one up.

None of my amps have trem and I've tried a few over the last couple of years but couldn't find anything that I really liked the sound of....until the Sugar Baby. This one sounds thick and syrupy and just adds a subtle "something" to my sound. I really like it and have no real intention of flipping it.

That said, Erksin mentioned a while back that C-bread is working on a Valco-voiced trem, and me, being the sucker that I am for all things Valco, will probably end up getting one for the good of science and sound.
