I have the Marshall JVM 410H, which is their flagship with the 4th channel dedicated pretty much to the scooped modern metal.

Budda amps are high gain? Really? I thought they were about JCM800 level gain?

If they'll cover high gain without pedals then they might be back on my list!

I'd suggest the Friedman but they need a mod to be boosted for solos.

Still go to my Freyette clx after 10 years. I've not heard anything quite like it, or that can do what it does better.
