Here's the deal. You have unlimited funds and you want to set up your board. You want an OD, Dist, Fuzz, Wah, Vibe, Chorus and Delay. You can only have ONE of each. What would you buy?
Oh yea, I don't have unlimited funds. I'm just wondering what *you* think would be the "best" for your board if money or availability was not an issue.

Well I have a lot of what I want already:

    Analog Man KOT overdrive
Lovetone ? Flanger (the best... it covers chorus, vibe, phase, tremelo, and more...)
    Way Huge Red Llama OD
Way Huge Aqua Puss (slap-back delay)
    Boss DD-3 (longer delays)
Divided by 13 DynaRanger treble booster
    Teese RMCIII wah

    On order:
    BJF Honey Bee
    BJF Baby Blue OD
    HellBilly

I don't really use Fuzz.. I have a RX Experience pedal if I really need that. if I had the $ I would like to try out some of the Lovepedal, Pete Cornish and BJF distortion boxes, and maybe buy the Fulltone tape echo unit.

Noticed you have a Reinhardt. I started lusting over those when I heard the clips a couple of days ago. The WCR/Reinhardt 18 clips rocked my world. man.

    Anyways,

    Timmy
    Cornish SS-3/G2 Duplex
    Hellbilly
    Picture Wah
    Ultra Vibe
Dyno-My-Piano Tri (not a pedal, but I want one real bad)
    TTE

If I was allowed to change the rules, I would replace my Ultra Vibe with a Diamond Comp, and have a clean boost instead of chorus. Actually, I'll just use nine pedals/effects instead. Anarchy!!! :D

I agree, 7 isn't going to do it, unless I can talk Cornish into building a few into one box for me:)

    I'd need:
    Klon
    Timmy
    Zendrive (on order)
Echoczar (not going to get this one) or Memory Lane
    Way Huge Aquapuss
    Guyatone Flip Tremelo
    Analogman Small Clone
    TZF Flanger
    Script Phase 90
    Teese RMC3

    Fantasy time, I love it.

    OD - Timmy
Distortion - Mosferatu - that's about as high gain as I get.
    Fuzz - Cheese Source
Wah - don't use one. How about a Goodrich volume pedal?
Vibe - Sobbat Glow Vibe, that's pretty exotic.
Chorus - don't use it much. How about a Moog 12 stage phaser?
Delay - Moog M104SD with expression pedals.

If you haven't had the chance to play any of these pedals before, they're worth checking out. They're among the best of the best IMHO.
    • Demeter Compulator (Compressor)
    • Hermida Zendrive (Overdrive)
    • Menatone King of the Britains (Distortion)
    • Z. Vex Fuzz Factory
    • Lovetone ??? Flanger (Flanger/Chorus)
    • Moogerfooger Analog Delay
    • Lovetone Wobulator (Tremolo)

OD, Dist, Fuzz, Wah, Vibe, Chorus and Delay ... not the lineup I'd pick. How about this?

    Tuner - Peterson Strobostomp
    EQ - Boss EH-2 Enhancer
    Comp - Barber Tone Press
OD - Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive
    Delay - Toadworks Redux
    Mod - DLS RotoSim

    That's six. Enough is enough.

Reasons... The EH-2 serves as a buffer for the rest of the chain (all TB) and adds a bit of touch-sensitive "snap" to humbuckers. The Tone Press and Sparkle Drive both allow mixing of the clean sound so the note attack doesn't get stomped into mush. The Redux is a very wam-sounding digital delay. The RotoSIM sounds closer to my Leslie 147 than any other sim that I've tried.

One of the coolest pedals ever made, period. Someone, please reverse-engineer this thing! I'm lucky enough to have one but it's now worth more $ than some of my guitars... I don't even see them on ebay anymore.
