    I'm not enjoying the big spectacular, it's not football music, I bailed.
    Now if they had an organic band that could just deliver real music with real players instead I would have watched it. Jeff Beck or the Grateful Dead's almost last show???

    NBC screwed up the audio pretty badly I thought. Sounded like they were broadcasting ambient from an announcers mic?

    Quite often for these performances, they do. The trend, partially out of the fear of audio issues and also out of fears of on camera mistakes (swearing), is to pre-record the performance and have the artist lip synch to it.

    Lenny Kravitz wasn't plugged in as best I could tell.

    No, it was sung live - at least the lead vocal. I thought she did fine.
