Sounds more like AC/DC than any Black Crows to me.

The last time I saw the Allman Bros. was in a shed, there were enough empty seats that that offered folks on the lawn the opportunity to move up to the seats.
Joe Bonamassa and Tedeschi Trucks Band played a show at the same shed and only sold seated tix, but at higher prices.
The thing about it is at this stage, the band has already gotten paid and it’s up to the promoters to get the money. But if this is a Live Nation deal, they will have their hand in merchandise sales too!

Took a look to see how this was selling.

    Beyond godawful is an understatement.

Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA holds 20K at capacity between seats and lawn. I'm pretty sure the capacity is split between the seats and the lawn.

If that's the case, according to the Live Nation map, MAYBE 20% of the seats are sold. You can still get 8th row at face value on either the left or right sections.

And these have now been on sale for 9 weeks. Granted there's still about 5 months until the tour starts, but if this is how bad it has initially sold.....I don't foresee them selling 10,000+ tickets in 5 months if they've only sold about 3,000 in the first 2 months.

I want to go, but hate what they did to Gorman and Sven. I probably won’t pay their prices. Ymmv

I’m going to that show. Maybe I’ll be able to move up closer!

Gorman is out with a new addition of Triggrr Hippy. I'd pay to see them instead.

I listened to one Trigger Hippy song. Couldn't make it to the end. I'd much rather see this version of TBC.... at least the songs are good

I thought you'd dig the self titled record.

    I really dig that one.

The song I listened to was from the recent album. Maybe I'll check out the first album

Well, there's nothing wrong with this, but it sounds like a long-lost Band outtake.
    Like Levon's ghost...

Now, I love The Band, but if I want to hear The Band, I'll go listen to The Band, you know?

    This is good, though...

I love the Black Crowes' music - one of my 3 favorite bands. But after reading Steve Gorman's book there's no way I would go pay to see those guys. I almost wish I hadn't read the book.

So I have been a fan since the begining. I love the crowes. Top 3 fav band. I was on the fence but decided to go. Here is why. I love the music, have seen all the side bands after the crowes and love those as well. Actually really enjoy crb. Chris and Rich are magic when they write. Hoping this may spark the creativity again. With neil and Eddie passing, maybe people's minds and hearts have taken a second look at life. It happens. Read Gorhmans book and was like WHAT!!! No Steve, or Marc, or Johnnie, means no real crowes, but, I am afan none the less and am going to just enjoy the music. Putting aside all the hangups and letting it be what it is. Much rather have seen another brothers of a feather thing but, hell, it is what it is.

I'm really surprised just how much hate is directed at the Robinson brothers. So what if the tour is a cash grab. This is what they do for a living. They've had a different line up each time I've seen them so I'm not all that bent out of shape that it's not the original guys.

I have tickets for a late August show so I'm hoping they really have buried the hatchet. A co-headlining tour would make more sense to me with the big venues but hopefully they figure out a way to fill them up.
