1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Hopefully it's not as bad in person as the clips make it out to be. Sounds like ass.

Nah, I'm more interested in finding good tones. Those clips don't represent anything close to good tones IMO.

I thought you were being harsh at first. Then I listened to the clips. I now agree with you completely. Horrible sounding.

cool form factor and design, clips sounded a bit thin and gritty for my taste. some clips of pedals i love have sounded similar though, so i'll withhold judgment...

I don't trust miniaturized circuitry for producing soulful guitar tone.

Well you have to consider the dry signal -

    http://www.mythfx.com/BypassBoost-SingleCoilBridge.mp3

That's the example with a dry signal, then the clean boost. Building on top of that is going to sound kinda harsh, so maybe this pedal with a thicker chewier amp/guitar combo might help.
