I'd been getting down on all the traveling, not seeing my family, and having my gear sit around mostly unplayed while I'm gone.

Today I had a couple hours, while the wife was out with my son.

    The Constellation has cured me.

I was having so much fun banging out Zep, AC/DC, Hendrix, ZZ Top, The Who.

Then switch to lead for some soulful Santana, and Brian May.

    My spirit is cleansed!

Love live rock, and the Constellation!

    Very cool Mikey
Sounds like the Connie is covering a lot of classic rock ground. I'd love to hear that puppy. Glad you got to crank it up a while.

Everybody needs to do that! Rock out a while &
get rid of the funk! But keep the funky baby :dude

An Historic Les Paul through the Constellation is something every guitar player should experience. Bliss.

I'll never forget the salesman at The Amp Shop in Studio City, Ca.... Phil. They have a lot of good boutique amps in there, so I asked about the Contellation, and his response was "there's great tone, and then there's 'silly tone'......the Constellation is what we call 'silly tone.' hahahaha What a great sales pitch! He's not wrong, either.

Thats what I keep trying to tell everyone. Just check out the NYC Tonefest DVD from last year. My Voodoo loaded R8 just kills me through this rig.

Glad to see it helped you out of the funk Mike! I truly love this amp!

I just watched/listened again - best tone on the dvd's both clean and dirty. The perfect blend of chime, grit, grind and cream. Hogy done right.

Butch, she's a loud one!! If there's another hurricane (let's hope not!), I say we line up a bunch of 60s and Connie's and face them out to see, and sonically push the hurricane back out to sea!

Clips - Haven't been able to do any since I reorged my office. I mean to setup a home studio when I get some time. Did you see the NYC Tonefest DVD?? That's got some great video of the Constellation in action.
