I just love this tune and wanted to do a cover version, hope I didn't destroy it !
For the ones that are no longer with us ...
It was all done pretty quickly, complete takes, very little editing so it's kinda raw :)

Great job! I prefer your cover to the original, which I also dig. A big part of that preference is the vocal, but the whole presentation is more energetic and assertive which kicks this great song into another gear.

Hell yeah - playing air guitar to it now
Awesome job! That's a sh1tload of tracks/layering going on there. That could have easily the B-side to 'Fascination Street', and one of their more heavier/closer-to-hard-rock tracks.

Cure songs aren't easy to cover; they either sound too close to the original (and you sound like a tribute band) or way too different and doesn't capture the vibe.
    Nicely done

Thanks for the kind words guys !! I really appreciate your comments :)
Yes, It wasn't an easy song to cover, I was a bit worried about destroying the tune, then the deadline got closer and I had very little time to think about it :D
we just tried to give our best, you can hear me rushing the beat at the end, the amp was so loud I could barely hear the click, here's an improved mix without the YouTube compression available for download:

    Sounds great.
    Recognizeable but still your own.
The vocals are strong , as is the picking .

I am going out on a limb here and say you and the band improved the
song by making it your own. Much more interesting - and anthemic.
    No Ruination going on here....
