It might have something to do with him not being funny.

hes not that funny, but he seems to think he is.
    its weird.
Larry Willmore is good, but his show is hit or miss.
    usually its just meh.

Both will be gone in 2 years.

I miss Colbert and I never watch Late Night. I guess I dont miss him that much.
He killed on Report. That was a great show! I always liked it better than TDS,
which tried too hard to be important.
Funny, should be the only goal.

The material is still good, but I agree that I just don't think Trevor Noah is naturally funny. Certainly not coming after Jon Stewart who IMHO is one of the funniest guys ever.

Yeah, just can't get into his delivery but Samantha Bee's new show is great.

TV is the ultimate, "what have you done for me lately?" Neither of those guys have the chops of their predecessors.

he has a cockiness or arrogance about him that is off putting.
    Its subtle, but there.

That article is from December, I'm not saying it's not still true, but that is not the freshest of information

I gave Noah and Wilmore a chance, but yeah neither is as good as their predecessors. I rarely watch them anymore

On the other hand, I do watch the Late Show with Colbert (on the DVR). He definitely still has it.

What's that you say? An entire hour of smartass trolling isn't funny? People are tiring of it?

    Nonsense.

You kinda need that to follow someone like John Stewart.

This was doomed from the start. Going with Noah was a real head-scratcher.

He was also smart enough not to follow an icon but do his own thing on HBO.

I bailed on him after a couple weeks. Doesn't really work for me having a foreigner doing commentary on our politics. I guess John Oliver is pretty good at it, but I don't have HBO, so I can't really say.
I do like Samantha Bee's show.

Anybody know if Stewart is busy these days?

Pretty sure Oliver made the move to HBO before Stewart announced he was leaving.

Yes, but who knows if he was offered the gig?

Either way, it took a lot of stones to be the guy to follow Jon Stweart. Which is why arrogance and cockiness shouldn't be surprising traits in Noah.
