My ‘61. Binding added before I owned it, but I fell in love as a result.
Love the black double blind teles with rosewood boards. I had to get my avri 58 whiteguard first, but I will own one eventually!
Here's my AVRI '62 Telecaster...
I really wish you hadn't posted that!! Just perfect!
My dream is a Sherwood Green double bound with a Strat tremolo.
I'm in love
My two. Partscasters, but the black one is currently my number 1 guitar.

I owned one of these 20 years ago, sold it...... Regret regret REGRET
My Squier CV Custom - Not my most expensive one, but I love this guitar..
I had a ‘62AVRI. It never really bonded with it cause she was stiff; a few years later found a used Tele Custom Relic on eBay that was a special run for Sam Ash.
The Relic is such a great guitar and definitely a keeper! All my photos are in PhotoSuckIt hell so I’ll post a pic later.
PS - those black w/ binding Teles are super sexy!!
Mine? I wish...I still think about the few weeks I spent with THE double bound tele. ‘59

Pete's by chance?
Yup. As much as dig this one, his refin, black Esquire Custom with little to no original parts is probably the best Telecaster I’ve ever heard/played.
Nice guitar gkoelling. That natural color really pops. Here is mine on the right, although it is an ASAT Special, I love the wood binding nonetheless with the Tele body.
I called Fender about this when I purchased it a few years back but forget all the details; apparently it was a special run for Sam Ash and they only made 1000 or so (?) back in 2005 IIRC.
Very light relic job, on par with my Cunetto's both tonally and visually - the Custom Shop really knocked it out of the park. I found it on eBay on the Sam Ash used site, opening bid was $2500.00 / make offer and I came in ~ $2200.00. She looked great in the ad but I was very pleasantly surprised when she arrived and I opened up the box. I almost pulled the plug on a '59 Tele Custom back in the day but I just wasn't feeling it at $12K....
Burn baby Burn....
Double Bound or bust.
