+ 1. A true thing of beauty. That box pushes my Twin into pure tonal nirvana.Remco from Hot Wire Audio makes a great FA-1 Ampclone. It's my go-to clean boost. No other clean boost I've owned/tried has come close. He's in Holland, not sure what the cost would be with the current exchange would be. Can't say enough good things about the pedal.
yup.+ 1. A true thing of beauty. That box pushes my Twin into pure tonal nirvana.
The U2 tribute bands generally give a nice shout-out to the DOD Bi-Fet (FX-10), as well. That's a solid little pedal that flies under the radar.I had one. Found it in a used shop for 60 bucks. I sold it for 220$ on Ebay though. Im an Edge fanatic but boys, come on, it's just a clean boost. Say what you want but you are better off with a Danelectro Fish and Chips or Sniper modded GE-7. Save your dough and get something that performs the same functions and more for the same price. For that matter I would go with a Catalinbread Varioboost. Now thats a clean boost.
For that you'd want a Psionic Audio Triad preamp pedal, which is a clone of the SDD-3000's preamp boost (and much more!).I know he likes the boost that comes out of the Korg SDD 3000 delay ( as do I !) ....does this pedal do something similar to the Korg ?( even with delay in bypass it juices up amp real nice )
SSSSSHHHH! let's keep that one to ourselves, OK!The U2 tribute bands generally give a nice shout-out to the DOD Bi-Fet (FX-10), as well. That's a solid little pedal that flies under the radar.
