So many buttons and knobs....how does this guy keep track of it all?
I heard somewhere that he rarely uses the same sound twice in one concert.
Where's the Memory Man?
But is it true bypass?
there's an app for that
Looking down at the labels on the footswitches is how he keeps track of it all. That rig is complete overkill, in my opinion, but when you're U2's guitarist, why not ? The Edge has to compete with Bono's ego.
So the 2290 is up there to do what? Seems like it's not a permanent part of the rig. The sdd pedal takes up so much space.
He hasn't used one since the 80's.
The Edge owns a lowly Peavey Classic 50 head???
How many H9's would it take to do all of that?
I believe that's CAE's workshop. That pic was on their facebook page recently.
I only see one. I don't see the big sky anymore. Or is it there somewhere?
Looks like a Hardwire DL-8 in the bottom drawer.
Edge used to have one of his pod pro signal going straight into the mixer (with a amp sim). Maybe this is the reason for 4 Fractals...
And yet the audience can't tell the difference. But cool **** nonetheless. I will listen to U2 some day I guess.
Digitech Sc-2 according to some U2 nuts
It's a DL-8, he's got a Synth-Wah in there somewhere too.
Oh God, another delay? It's hard to tell the difference, but I think most of us thought "it can't be another delay, it must be a Sc-2"
lolz, that is very true. but on the other hand, given the Edge's role in proliferating and popularizing greater use of effects pedals among guitarists, do we all owe some weird debt to Bono's ego? is that why I have a 23-pedal setup - because of tragedies that befell Bono as a kid?
life is ****ing weird, man.
