Love them! My son loves them too. I always hear him playing "Let's Go" on his Tele. Haven't figured out how to put a video in to posts in this new regime yet.

I remember being excited when this Jonathan Demme directed video got some playing time on MTV's 120 Minutes.

At the risk of dating myself, we listened to Only Life all the time. Rolling Stone/Spin always had Crazy Rhythms ranked high on their lists but also mentioned it was very difficult to find a copy of CR in print.

They were in Demme's film Something Wild, the band at the reunion. Only Life was one of albums that got a ton of rotations on my turntable in my later teenage years. A local university used to have a free show at the end of the school year The Feelies played it one year with the Chickasaw Mudd Puppies opening for them. It was around 1991/92, I think. Great show. I got a guitar pick off of Bill Million around somewhere.

I do remember that Demme was a huge fan of the band. He was my introduction to them, as I recall.

Also: Love your avatar. I need to revisit that trilogy. I haven't watched it since the 90's.

Much luv for the Feelies here. The Good Earth is one of my all time favorites. I was just listening to it a couple of days ago. It's a fantastic soundscape for any day, but was particularly awesome for a rainy drive I had down to Colorado Springs.

I saw them in Boulder in 1990. Great Show!

I remember hearing Slow Down as background music in a car commercial about 5 years ago. I was very surprised and it got me all pumped up.

You gave me the idea for it when I saw Setsuko in your avatar.

Did any of you pick up Here Before, their release from 2011? I didn't realize that they put out anything in the last 20 years.

+1. Love The Feelies. Only Life was one of those "life's soundtrack" albums for a lot of people I knew, where it almost defines a summer or stretch of time. What Goes On immediately sends me back to the early days. Like I can smell it.
