Anyone know what font is used on the Les Paul Standard knobs? (image attached)
Times New Roman?
1957 telephone font?

Looks like the printing position was a little off center, that's all.
Looks like typewriter to me
It looks similar to Elliot Sans, but is probably a common, older typeface. The flat top on the "3" should make it easy to find, but this is the best I've come up with so far. The "1" is slightly different -
I tried uploading an image to whatthefont.com and it did not come up with good options. I thought, like you, it was a common, older typeface. It probably is, even looks a bit familiar. So I was surprised whatthefont could not identify it.
Something common from the mid-20th Century. Tom is really close, but it's been a while since I've dealt with fonts. Basically my dealings with fonts and type goes back to BC: before computers
Looks like the same font as the old DYMO label makers.
I haven't the fontest idea.
