? The font on these Les Paul knobs

    It's a 0
    Looks like the printing position was a little off center, that's all.

    I tried uploading an image to whatthefont.com and it did not come up with good options. I thought, like you, it was a common, older typeface. It probably is, even looks a bit familiar. So I was surprised whatthefont could not identify it.

    Something common from the mid-20th Century. Tom is really close, but it's been a while since I've dealt with fonts. Basically my dealings with fonts and type goes back to BC: before computers ;)

    Looks like the same font as the old DYMO label makers.
