    Sweet. I thought I saw a post about the new Space Tone Reverb in here a few weeks ago.

    I've loved the Swarts that I have tried - great little amps!

    Unrelated question: What is that black guitar on the splash page, that is sitting on the chair? It looks a little like a Duo Jet, but the body shape is wrong... its beautiful!

    Most Excellent

    I'd bet that Tweed sells like hotcakes. 12" speaker and reverb is a great addition to that amp...nice!!!

    I do wish that Swart would consider having two versions of this new amp, one with reverb and the other with tremolo. He is so good at both of those and I think he would sell even more if he could put his amazing tube tremolo on this new little amp. Then it could be like a mini AST for those who don't need 20 watts of power...ideally, of course, this little amp would somehow have both and then basically be a combination of the best of the 6v6se and the AST.

    The clean/dirt switch would be nice on my AST-PRO.

    Hopefully it's cooler than the last single-ender with reverb. That's the only Swart I've played that wasn't awesome.

    Personally I'd love Michael to do a 10in equipped single-ender...

    OK, so Michael has come close to the Holy Grail. :bow I'll admit, as unique as the rear-mounted controls on the AST are, the top-mounters are way easier to adjust on the fly. If this STR-Tweed had tremolo, OR if there was a version of the AST with top-mounted controls, I'd be dialing right now.

    I'm THIS CLOSE to having the funds, and have been looking at used ones, so a purchase is imminent. I was waiting for the new head, but NO NEWS?!?! Anyone know when the new AST head will be coming out?

    BTW- I'll bet that "mystery tube" on the AST head is the same thing as on the STR-Tweed... a switchable gain boost...

    Michael... LISTEN UP!!..............:munch

    AST-Pro, gain switch, top-mounted controls. Do it.:drool:love::stir

    Footswitchable gain would be nice, a lot of amps have that option these days.

    +1 on that. Or a 10" with reverb and tremolo.

    Not allowed to tell. I think you folks will be happy though. Email Mike and see if he is willing to give up the details but I cannot as I have been sworn to secrecy.
