The geeks are saying we should uninstall Quicktime for Windows

    Need to have it if your running Transcribe! software and want to open Itune songs or, obviously, quicktime videos.

    iTunes songs and videos work fine without Quicktime. I uninstalled it today and just checked. All works fine.

    Even throughout the years, when I was being sent Quicktime dependent attachments (from trusted senders) I refused to have Quicktime on any of my machines. I beat the geeks to it (or, perhaps, I am a geek who was ahead of his time lol).

    Chromebook 15 inch.

    Same here, been telling people for 15 years to never go near quicktime. If it requires QT then I move on to the next thing.....
