    I dusted mine off this morning and woke up the neighborhood.

    It's been a while, but every time I play a P90 SG through that Hiwatt amp and cab, I am amazed all over again! It is a certain kind of magical tone that nothing else can touch. :nono

    I want a Hiwatt so badly - as you know. Your pictures are great. I love the way the first one developed.

    Great amp though...just not exactly what I was after - from now on i'm a 1 amp at a time guy.

    It was found in the unlikliest of locations by my good friend and musical co-conspirator. He gave it to me, I sold it, regretted it immediately, and was lucky enough to recover it. It was featured prominently on some Hiwatt fanboy site...........

    A DR455... JP/SAP preamp with a 50 watt back end, using 4 6V6s in a Swanson custom 2-12 combo.....

    Homebrewed "Marwatt" (basically an 18 watt TMB with a Hiwatt-ish tonestack on the TMB channel)

    I would love to try one of these amps out for sure!
    How would you Hiwatt foks describe the sound compared to a e.g marshall plexi?
