Saturday we hit the Bucket City swap meet :red and here are a few of the deals that got snapped up so fast I barely had time to focus the camera and get a shot

Here was a bargin .... $5,500 and I don't know what it sold for but it sure was an original. 1931 or something like that.

This one could have been cool if it had a frame to it .... but that's a minor thing, you can do the folded aluminum foil trick just to get it on the road.

This one here needs turn signals and a new paint job ... price was reasonable

    This old Chrysler was sweet!

This bug here had a lot of potential!! I bet it got good gas mileage

I don't know, there wasn't much else out there .... how about this thing, it needed a fender, but other than that it was good.

Ok, moving on, I went to a few other dealers and here is what I found.

This first dealer just had his stuff scattered around in a field. He told me take a looky, if there is anything I like, we can talk about price.

I kind of liked this Camaro here >

And then there was this 57 Chevy .... pretty sweet, needed cleaned up and a few parts.

Another Camaro ... he said this one needed a battery...

These are really cool too. How many of these do you see at a car show? yeah, so you'd draw a crowd EVERY time!!!

Then over on another lot they had this stuff >

This was an original Hemi car! That's what the guy told me!

When I didn't like the cars, they tried to show me some tractors.

Well, that's about it .... it was kind of disappointing. I'll keep looking next weekend.

I saw Farmer Brown on the way out

Stopped for some gas ..... and that was it.

I don't think that was an original hemi car..not with the 4 doors. I know that particular model also came without inner fender wells from the factory with the hemi engine . Those cars were considered unsafe because everybody who bought them were crashing them.....HORSEPOWER

I'd look for an all original Chevy Vega if I were you. Then, I'd burn it. :D

    Dear Dr. Tweedbucket,

I saw this vintage cream-puff in Da Bronx a couple days ago. Looks like it just needs a spit-shine, and some air in teh tires, and you're ready to hit teh Kwakkleberry Strip.

Bad news: Despite teh windshield sticker, I'm nearly certain it's not a Mercedes.

Good news: it has some modern appointments:
-chain-link window trim (nothing says "badass mofo" like chain-link window trim)
-exterior phone to take calls from your harem.
-pure brass door-knob for easy entry
-roof wing-mounted security camera. Can spot your wife coming from 1/2 mile
-old-school bell alarm for ear-shattering tones (think Mesa)
-dual thermometers located above the windshield. These detect teh temperature of the passenger seat, and indicates when she is ready.
-multiple 120V outlets on the rear, for your amplifier, charging a vibrator, or emergency lighting if you need to clean or load your pistol.

*I'm not sure what was on the other side of the car, because I was afraid to cross the street.
