Ya, it's beautiful stuff! Silky lines and such a wonderful natural bloom and compression of the note, Larry is a Master...

Thanks man...but we'll have to agree to disagree.

I need a few more miles yet. :) Those were fun times, though...jamming amongst all those private corporate jets!

    Happy Holidays!

He is my hero! This tune really brought me to America with my dream, a guitar and one suit case!

Thanks for sharing. Larry's picking technique is amazing too.

Go to 1:40, this is the single coil lead tone i hear in my head, it's just crazy, it's so powerful but still soft. the whole "TRY!" album is on the top in my guitar world. The whole performance is just great and with the extended outro. :bow

Adam Levine of Maroon 5's lead tone on their Friday the 13th... just their tone in general, but both Adam and James have insane lead tones.. i can't remember how long i've tried to copy their tone and how many times i've seen their live stuff to try and play like them. This band has made a huge impact on my playing and music style, and i think it's a bit sad they don't get credit for their musicianship because they are all very talented
Cut to 2:07, and 4:03. And that SG :bow

I'm constantly blown away by Roy Buchanan's variety of tones. Clean, dirty, gritty, he amazes me.

    Always loved Rm. 335.

I'd say this to me has been even bigger than 'Beano' since it came out.

Sure does. Even though I rarely play Strats these days I still have those tones in my head as reference ... and there are many more that pop in depending on what combination of guitars amps and FX I use.
