I don't think I have posted this one: The second guitar is a McNaught through a Rocker 30 (Orange). I recently traded both for another Tele (Suhr) and a Dr. Z!

    Excellent.

Ahh, I remember when my mom came up to my room to hear my new Zepelin album. When that song played, the album died an unnatural death

Seems mom didn't appreciate the wizardry of the lyrics. :jo

Yeehaw!! Thanks, comrades. That's a funny story, jBcool. I could just see that vinyl being whacked over bended knee or thrown against the nearest wall. My brothers and I had to hide our affinity for Kiss! It was quite a black-market operation, for a couple of kids, that is...
    ;)

I was in 7th grade, still playing drums on a pad. Steppenwolf Live was on the turntable, "The Pusher" was on. My Dad came in, heard the "GD, the pusher man!" phrase, reached over, and dragged the needle right through "The Pusher" and "Hey Lawdy Mama"...told me he better not hear that song again...

I kept the album low in the future, and there was always an annoying "tick" in those two songs, but they didn't skip, so hey, I was still cool! :D

So Earache My Eye WAS based on real-life events! "Daddy! what're you tryin' to do? You ruined my record, man. I just bought it!"

Danke, John. Jammath. Cool name. I knew there were equations for jamming!

Yeah, Mom was the town piano teacher and wanted to show she was open minded about the "new" music. She was about the music. But the lyrics she did NOT appreciate. Snap. One less Zep album in the world.

It hurt too. I didn't have much money then.
