I'm borrowing the new 65 Amps prototype for my gig tomorrow night. The Memphis is a 6V6 version of the Soho. What should I expect? BTW The new bass amp will be there too.

Will do. I own the Soho, London, & Marquee. I'm looking forward to cranking the Memphis.

    Hey Vic,

How was NYC, the Pierre and the Radio City show?

The Memphis? 4 6V6s or 2? With two 6V6s you are in Deluxe city, you can leave the attenuator at home and open it up.

Have fun entertaining the conference. That D'pergo making its stage debute?

The Soho has EL84s. Not sure what the Memphis sounds like. I'll know tomorrow.

    FRANKIE!!!!

The Pierre was incredible. It probably our best trip to NYC. Lots of shopping and walks in Central Park. The wife was very very happy.

The RC show was off the hook. Stevie, Carlos, Aretha, & Garth... it doesn't get better than that.

The D'Pergo should be here in a couple of weeks. BTW I just got on the Gustavsson waiting list... next year, baby!!

    Life is good!

Haven't talked to Paul....think you had him out past his bedtime!

Debbie and my girls think of the Pierre as a home away from home, elegant, comfortable, nice folks...feels like our old prewar apartment with the high ceilings and the space to relax. Glad Pat enjoyed it.

Digging my new Collings City Limits and the Wrecklica....you would go nuts playing through this beast...makes other amps seem anemic...like driving a very hot sports car with acceleration that does more than you could possibly need.

Looking forward to the Memphis report...I love 6V6s!!!

I've just ordered a London to give me a lower volume version of the Vox EL84 tones I've relied on for years.

Next up for me is something with 6V6 flavour so I'm pretty interested in this Memphis model.

Sounds like a winner, but wonder if it will offer reverb, trem, MV 1/2 power or power scaling. Details we want details!!!! :)

The Memphis is based on the Soho so there should be a defeatable MV.

    And,

Get someone to record a video clip of it in action at your gig?

I literally live a couple of residential neighborhoods over from the casino... I'd love to hear the Memphis... I have a Soho and love it to death... What day are you playing??

I played the first prototype of their bass amp. It's based, or was at that point, on the Royal Albert, sounds killer and can totally get that old Entwhistle tone if you want it. The final version should be amazing!
