Not for me - it's just my opinion, but that demo is horrible. I already have a GT8 (which is good enough for impromptu jams - sounds quite good when tweaked well) and a AXE-FX. Based on that video, the GT10 is .....:puh

    I've had the GT3, GT5, GT6 and GT8.
    I think I should complete the series...hehe.
I'm gonna get me one as soon as it's available.

Well pedals are something I have not got into but for the money of one of these compared to the boutique pedals that cost hundreds of $$'s seems everyone has a favourite ( endless types and names ) so you could soon be into thousands$$ on recommendations of what to buy :jo:worried

I'm using a Pod XT live right naw and it gives some decent effects and OD's through my Rambler but I like the layout of this GT-10 and may try one as well .

Boss 'cosm' od/distortions always sounded like ass to me, which is strange since some of their standalone pedals like the sd-1/ds-1 are pretty cool.

    Go figure...

Looks like they may have overcome the GT-6 and GT-8 issues

Well, I finally got my GT10 a couple of months ago.
I use it with the 4-cable method controlling my Marshall JVM via midi.
I do NOT use any of the preamp or speaker models, I use it just for the effects...and it really sounds great.
Very well built, not noisy at all, fast, great interface.
My only complaint: The preamp models sound very mid-heavy. I do not like them at all.
If you're looking for a great multieffects unit, the GT10 is IT.
Now, if you're after great modeling for recording or playing direct...look elsewhere.
