Sounds curious, but I don't remember any Voxy sounds out of the GS Blue, yet they describe the first channel as like the Blue and Voxy?

That description is a little too abstract and not totally accurate and was put up quickly. Brad is aware of that and the text should be changed shortly. I can see what they are trying to get at, but its not the best way to describe that channel and people will think its a stripped-down Blue - IT IS NOT!

I have the GS3 and it has NO connection to the GS Blue soncially or circuit-wise. Trust me on this.

There is one clip up on the Jetter site and more audio and video clips will be following this week. I think Ede Wright and Brad will be doing a full-blown demonstration video of the pedal.

Wow, does this thing have even more balls than the GSR? Interesting to hear, at least this clip.

Sounds interesting...but why would you not put a tone control on BOTH channels?

JS54, how does the dirt side compare to either the red or the black?

There is a tone control for channel 1 - its on the side of the box, is called "Cut".

The Dirt side is a modified Purple.

Cool. I saw that little "button" it looked like and was going to ask about that...

I forget JS54, did you try the black? How close do you think the black and the purple sound? I dig my black with my Budda...but it is a bit thin sounding with my Fender Super Reverb.

Yes. To me, the Black is quite different from the Purple. The Black is much more boost like and the Purple is more balanced in the OD range.

    Final question (I think...):
which is more cranked plexi like? black or Purple? And did you play either with a Fender amp?

I might be interested in a purple rather than the black just because it might be more versitale for me. I bought the black so I could get rid of my Tonebone classic. The black sounded incredible with the Budda but so thin with my Super Reverb I couldnt use it and the tonebone is still here.

The Purple is more cranked Plexi. I really like the GS3's drive channel and the 2 channels combined are even more gain-y.

I've only played the pedals through a tweed amp and briefly through a BF.

I'd like to be of more assistance in your tone quest, but I hesitate to give a more subjective review for fear of sounding like a shill.

Is the GS3's drive closer to the Purple?
