Pens get beat by Rangers in 5. Pens unload either Crosby or Malkin in the off season. It isn't working in Pittsburgh anymore. Complete re-build time starting with GM and Head Coach.

Hawks win the Cup (now that Patrick Kane is back).

Isles played their first smart complete game in about a month this evening. Good win vs the Caps.

Subban got dicked on that major.

Nasty slash but not a major.

Preds are showing their colors in the 2nd.
They are WAY out of their league.

    NOT!!!

The Preds missed about 10 opportunities. It's a good game

Subban needs a short suspension. There's no question he knew exactly where he was slashing. Funny now that habs fans can't complain about bruin goons, their own goon goes out and targets one of the better players for Ottawa.

I didn't fear the hawks with Crawford. This new kid looks imposing if he keeps it up though! I'd start Darling next game.

A gamer for Subban on that slash seemed a little excessive...but good job by Stone selling the hell out of it.

It was at least the second time in the game where Subban's stick made contact high with an opponent. Maybe that plus the fact that Stone looked like he got shot with a 12-gauge is what netted him that penalty.

I think this is the Habs year to get to the finals. But with Kane back...hard to pick against Chicago.

All I can say is that I need to get more TVs...so much good hockey last night.

Hammond has holes, think that's nerves that cropped up?

I oddly cheered for Calgary last night.

Despite all the praise, I don't think Rinne ever comes up with those game changing saves when his team needs 'em. Also, I know it's hard to shutdown the Hawks...but going four unanswered will get ya bounced quick.

The Isles looked composed, took that crowd right out of the game. Damn Ovie played too "nonchalant" for the first game of the playoffs IMO :(

Stone gone for the series with a wrist fracture.

Guess the Habs got the better end of that one...Wondering if the league reviews it now.

... then this won't take long. But I'm starting to think Lemieux's fingerprints are all over this team. The team is built in his image. Country club atmosphere, don't listen to coaches, who needs practice, finesse game, can't deal with clucthing and grabbing, lots of under-achieving talent on the ice, ....

Whoa! Guess it was that bad.

Will be interesting to see if there is retribution.

Btw, why the hell is the Wild/Blues game starting at freaking 8:30 tonight?

Sadly Our Red Wings are likely a first round and out club Again this year.
Between Howards Avg at best tenure and Ken Hollands lack of piecing a Stanley Cup team in years as well I see Babcock jumping off.
What Illitch should do is Throw Stupid money and Team control too Stevie Y next season.
