With all the posts lately and with Randall getting ready to go back into production, I figured it would be timely to start a new thread on the Sabre.

As promised, here is a link to some new clips of the Sabre. There are a variety of Clean, Crunch, and High Gain tones with without fx and at the bottom of the page there are two complete songs with the Sabre used on all guitar tracks.

Randall Aiken really has a great thing going. I've used the amp for a year and have been completely impressed with the sound, quality, and customer support.

BrentSP, thanks for the soundclick link. Let me know if you still want me to email you the mp3s.

Andrew, really good job on the clips. I really think the Sabre is a real break through amp. It may even find a find a place in ampland history when enough of them get produced. I have production model 01 and it's red in honor of Randall. :dude

curehardy, the "stereo delay" clip is a plugin, all the other effects are the g-major.

The lead channel sounds more vintage classic rock.......or was it just the way it was dialed in?

boost off for "heavy power chords," probably on for leads.

:dude :dude Love that heavy riff in Grungey Vibe, works great with the quasi-Celtic rhythm you have going. Excellent job with a great sounding amp. One complaint however, the clips were too short! Left me wanting much more.....:AOK

link updated...I just added a song that I did for an upcoming album by American Idol finalist Jon Peter Lewis. A variety of guitars were used, but the only amp is the Sabre. The mix is decidedly very 'college rock,' so some of the huge distorted guitar sounds were pulled back in favor of the more jangley parts. Let me know if there's anything else you all wanna hear and I'll see if I have any clips handy.
