While I am going to the March 3rd show in Connecticut and can't wait... I think that we should probably keep this thread uncluttered and hold off on posting until AFTER you've gone to each show and have somethign to contribute...?

I can envision this thing becoming 12 pages of...

"I'm going on March 9th in East buttf#ck! Woooooo---hooooooo!!!" [IMG]

How is the stage set up? I have floor seats about half way, wondering if they have a ramp coming out to the audience.

They have ramps, but they only extend out....15 rows or so? Dave ventured out on our side/Ed's side, but Ed & Wolfie stayed on the stage.

    SET LIST FROM TONIGHT, PLEASE!!!!!

Thats a terrible set list! Geesh! How long is the show? Seems like it would only be about 90 mins? I love VH but that seems like a fraud with so many great songs not in the lineup. Then ending it with Jump? Lol! Wtf?

Holy CRAP ! This is a terrible set list! :waiting

but on topic ... they aren't playing anywhere near Cleveland, so I'd have to drive a long ways to see them if that's going to happen.

... but after seeing that set list :huh .... I don't know if I want to see them. First of all, they have so many better songs.

Here let me fix it for them :red

    Old set list:

    You Really Got Me
    Running With The Devil
    She's The Woman
    Somebody Get Me A Doctor
    Tattoo
    Everybody Wants Some
    Beautiful Girls
    Ice Cream Man
    Chinatown
    Dance The Night Away
    Hot For Teacher
    Blood and Fire
    Eruption
    Panama
    Jump

Tweed's recommeded set list in the correct order: 20 minute break in the middle optional.

    Unchained
    Somebody Get me a Doctor
    A Full Bug
    HoneyBabySweetieDoll
    ChinaTown
    House of Pain
    Mean Street
    Ain't Talkin About Love
    I'm the One
    DOA
Beats Workin - Eddie solo in middle
    Light up the Sky
    Girl Gone Bad
    Panama
    As Is
    Hang em High
    Romeo Delight
    In a Simple Rhyme
    Little Guitars
    Everybody Wants Some
    Hot For Teacher
    You and Your Blues
    Outta Space - Alex Solo
    Running with the Devil
    On Fire
    Hot Summer Nights
    5150
    Beautiful Girls

Now THAT would be a proper show! :red

I mean, maybe Dave's voice won't hold out for a long show .... he's never sang very well live anyway ... that's all I can think of :huh

    *EDIT*

I forgot that was their mini concert for the VIPS. :) Sorry :)

Guys the LA show, I believe, was an abbreviated set. Should be a longer set once the tour kicks off.

    Great show in Louisville...
Eddie was fantastic! Alex was killing! Wolfgang was awesome! Dave did a fine job and was pretty cool throughout... vocals had some really strained moments, but I didn't care because he also has some very fine moments, too. He was a class act on stage and didn't over do the shtick, at all.
Highlights for me were Women in Love, I'll Wait - yes, I'll freaking Wait!!!!, Mean Street, and Beautiful Girls...
They did Tattoo, Chinatown, and That's the Trouble with Never... Chinatown was awesome!!!!

Dave forgot a few lyrics and sang a lot of stuff in a different timing than recorded (which I thought was very cool) but the band really looked like they were having a ball playing... Eddie looked very joyful up there and they all looked happy doing it!!

Cool and the Gang were a great act, too... played some funky stuff and sang well... must have have at least 12 members in the group and they all got to take some smoking solos on saxes and guitars... very good!!!
