yep same here. Im a big big big fan of a lot of those bands.

Going by the list on that wiki page here are some of my fav albums

Brant Bjork - Jalamanta
earthlings? - human beans
Fatso Jetson - Flames For Us All. All of the albums are amazing. Mario Lalli is the godfather out there.
Masters Of Reality - S/t, Sunrise on the Sufferbus, deep in the hole.
Kyuss - ALL of the albums kick ass. My fav is Blues For the Red Sun tho.
Queens Of the Stone Age - Their first 3 albums are my fav albums of the last 20 years.
Yawning Man - Rock Formations
Mondo Generator - Cocaine Rodeo, a drug problem that never existed.
Slo-Burn - Amuzing the Amazing (this is John Garcias first outing after Kyuss)
Nebula - Atomic Ritual

and **** man there are a whole lot more. This has been my main vibe in music for a long time now.

I guess a lot of people don't get it. Not everyone gets off on obscure guitars into obscure big wattage amps and tuning down to C#. I love this **** myself.

I love Josh Homme. I'll always pop into these threads. I remember Kyuss on Headbangers Ball back in the day talking about their generator parties in the middle of the desert.

I like Chris Goss too. I think he produced Welcome to Sky Valley.

BMF Effects

Great tone made simple.

I've always dug Masters of Reality. Spent the weekend listening to Karma to Burn and liked it. Some of it is a little repetitive but there are also some serious riffs. Moving on to Kyuss next.

Is there a Band called Syrus or something like that as I kinda remember seeing someone named Syrus? I think that there were 3 members and the bass player was thumping the hell out of the bass? Anyway a very cool act to see...

I think that Sunrise on the Sufferbus by Masters of Reality is a cool album, with Ginger Baker sitting in on drums.

this

Kyuss basically wrote the book and are mandatory, Brant is excellent, Mondo has great moments, QOTSA from their eponymous debut through Vulgaris are just an awesome, awesome group
Also the general Desert Sessions gatherings/recordings are a blast, and I'm a big fan of Eagles of Death Metal too.
