Just saw it posted on Wendy & Lisa's FB page. Looks like they all met in Minneapolis. Hung out for a few days and decided to do a few dates.

The keyboardist from the Revolution has a Prince tribute band that comes to town occasionally.

Wouldn't that be Lisa? - I doubt she's been in a Prince tribute band.

    In the video they posted:

    Wendy & Lisa
    Bobby Z
    Dr. Fink
    Brown Mark

I guess it's possible that others could be involved.

Wow! How did you get that video link so quickly? I see there are very few views.

I'm special and also I searched for The Revolution on Youtube for listings today. ;) If they come to Austin I would go see them. I saw them in 85 and they are my favorite of the Prince bands.

I saw The Revolution a number of years ago reunite at the Forum for a charity gig. Prince was a no-show, of course, but he wrote a check. Wendy sang all the leads. But what was remarkable, that despite the passage of years, the fact they hadn't played together, the fact they were all on different gear, they still sounded like The Revolution from that era. Which is why that remains a unique band -- more than the individual musicianship (Prince would have many more individually accomplished players in some chairs as time went on), the whole was greater than the sum of the parts. Their sound was totally their own, which is an accomplishment.

Wonder if Gayle Chapman or Dez might participate?
