I have a small closed back 1x12 cab that I have been using to try out different speakers.

I notice that the size of the speaker cut out is quite a bit smaller than it could be. So, I wonder what the effect would be if I were to open this out. Any ideas?

Is the speaker rear mounted or front loaded? Photos?

Usually the hole is 1 1/4" to 1 1/2"" smaller than the diameter of the speaker frame.
