Don't fav any over other, just different usages. None high priced comps.

Ironfist comp/gate up front after fuzz/treble boosters but before high gains like PP etc. It's the one I crank up hard but gate will kick in and quell noise after decay.

VFE White Horse sets after hard od like pp, HAO Rust Driver or lemon drop etc but before med-low gain. I use its mosfet od as much as optical part of it. It's kind of my amp compression enhancer, mosfet preamp adds bit more grit then optical adds sustain. Clean blend allows me to just add a bit more dirt and sustain to high gains in front of it without losing all punch/dynamics.

If you made me pick one to keep it would be it. It's as much a overdriver/preamp with bass roll out as a optical sustainer. It pushes Kingsley Page or amps preamp after it into this clear, open almost dirty endless sustain at lower volumes, much like having amp wide open right before serious breakup, think Green Grass and High Tides at stage vol tone.

Last in chain is Keeley GC-2, absolutely brilliant comp, use it mainly for comp/limiting at end but it is a very high functioning comp on its own. Super quiet and natural sounding unless you dail up some squish on it.

LOL! Yeah, I was a little surprised...but it was worth the laughs anyway. :D I think it was a one month ban. I can still see the warnings listed in my profile, even though they 'expired' in November 2016:

The 2nd one is better than the first! The Grinder Pinotage - a good low cost staple.

    That's interesting.

That's one of their services I thought. Strange that they wouldn't do it.

I ordered one too and got my confirm. Then an hour or so later got a backorder notification! Guess I should've happy they're honoring the SDOTD price even if they did sell out.

I had a TRS cable he made for me go bad within a week and contacted him at least twice to see about fixing or replacing and never heard back.

Nice board man. My Vibronaut went in sideways as well.
