I don't know about you but the Strymon stuff seems sort of fragile as well. So I might have the EPH-3 on a board that gets thrashed around a little.

    That's me.
I only ever used delay for covers that needed it until I got the EPH-3 .
I use it all the time now.
I love how when you play fast it "gets out of the way" but when you stop, there it is.
Also the mix knob is great I can actually get the amount of delay in the signal I want.
Most delays are either off or way too much for me.

ha ha, good! Although in all fairness, my GF wouldn't begin to care. I unfairly added her to this for comedic effect. Sure it's a crappy move, but I am a lucky man. She wouldn't care and would see the humor in it!

Anyway, I have the LP board, I have a Strymon board - but w/ a Les Lius on it - I have a "mini pedals" board, which I use at home... I have an acoustic guitar board, and I a few more not worth talking about. Good times :)

I've gigged a Strymon board - Deco, OB-1, Flint and a Les Lius - countless times. It's a lot of things. Fragile is not one of them.

Man, I love that post. I really hope that I become more proficient with delays. My guitar player is a killer delay user, so I tend to let him handle that stuff. But I really oughta learn, and up to now all I use it for is slapback.

You know, I never really thought about it, but Zen into Eternity and you've got great gigs now AND in the afterlife!

I only had about 10 minutes with the EPH-3 but it switched it with the Skrecho. It does get out of the way beautifully. It's different than the Skreddy, which does ambient trippy stuff and is inspiring but to me is hard to set for out of the way stuff.

I have a Dmm 550tt that is the only delay I own with tap tempo so it stays and also sounds awesome. The EPH-3 might be the closest thing to the echo sound in my head. I need to compare it to the DE-7 but I think I like the Hermida better. Honeymoon? Maybe, but it's good no doubt.

Yeah good to know. I've gigged my El Cap as well and it's all good. I've almost pulled the trigger on a Deco about 50 times. It's a cool machine. The Flint is very cool as well.

    $50 for a Zendrive

Ill wait half the year for that if i have to :)

    P.S. @MAGICboy love the Twin60 :)

First order from the Great American SNS of October 2017 just arrived here at work... EPH-3!

Can't wait to play through it- but trick or treating and Halloween with the 2 yr old is going to make it a long day/evening until I can plug it in.

Or go to the local retailer and buy Behringer :barf

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I bought a Behringer pedal a couple years back to compare it to something more expensive...footswitch lasted about two weeks. Did the same thing a few months later...same results. Never again. That said, I've had a couple of their mixers that worked just fine.

Me too actually - the one mixer of theirs we had we used for years with no problems.

Meanwhile, the mixer I bought from them didn't last through the first gig. And GC wouldn't repair it or refund me. Said I had to ship it to China to get it repaired or some such nonsense. Would have cost more than the price of the bloody thing. Never again. Bought a Mackie to replace it - and I am still using it all the time.

Yesterday, I asked if anybody else had not received any notification.
So I'm feeling king of guilty to have opened this box of worms.
I was NOT complaining AT ALL. Just asking because it took longer than usual.
Please, don't resent my post. I REALLY didn't mean to rile Sean up.
I just hope I'm not, even partly, responsible for this.
But if I would be, please know that I'm so sorry guys, so sorry.

Add me to the list of people not fussed about getting the Red Zen in a hurry. It doesn't hurt that the Amp11 is so good - it's replacing the KoT on my board and I think it's going to do a great job of that.

But even so - the Zen will get here when it gets here. No worries and no complaints from me.
