    Sounds special.

Love the clarity. I dug my Ace Tchula but I need clean at times. I wish there was a Tchula minus the boost and with a master volume. I'd be all over that.

    Lovepedal question:

I'm really digging the boost side of the Amp 11, which I understand is a modified CoT. Is there a standalone pedal that has a level knob as well as the drive knob that the Amp 11 boost has, or do all the variants of the CoT only have the drive (bias?) control?

Not that I have any money left after the last SNS, but still kind of curious...

Yes yes we saw this already, watched it like five times in fact. It's fantastic.
Was just looking for different viewpoints.

Umm...how about the Amp11?! If you want to just have a level control set the OD side drive on and down near zero and you've got a CoT50 with a volume control AND bass and treble EQ. Turn it sideways on your board and Bobs your uncle...

Right - I'm using the Amp11 and I like using the OD side for a rhythm crunch, while the boost for whatever reason just sounds great on its own for single-note stuff. The voicing is really nice. So, I was wondering if there was a standalone CoT pedal with a volume knob or if the circuit is designed in such a way that there's just a drive control and no level control.

I also have a Timmy that does a nice boost, and I bought a red zen from the last SNS too, so I'm not hurting for boost/drive pedals. Just digging the Amp11.

It is great isn't it? I guess you could go the SNS thread approved route and have TWO Amp11's!!!

IIRC Ren stayed when Gibson closed Kalamazoo factory. I think he helped
    start Heritage.

@MAGICboy Just tried mine tonight. Love the right size. Humongous!
Is the left side boost supposed to be a clean boost or kind of gated and spotty?
The knob doesn't do the crackly thing, so I figure it's not a bias adjustment like on a COT. What's it supposed to be?

    See my post above.
The fizzy, 3 knob right side is awesome.
Not sure what to think of the boost side. It's a bit odd to me.

Got 3 people helping in the shop this weekend. Should have everything out starting Monday-Thursday. The lil China’s are my last task so all the 50 bones deals will be enroute immediately Monday morning.

Are u using a battery or a PS?
It shouldn’t be fizzy at all.

I might have to see it if it’s fizzy

Is it supposed to be very trebly and almost spitty? Mine changes the entire character of the pedal when engaged. Takes tgat fat, round right side and makes it very trebly and edgy. It does boost it, but at the price of drastically changing the overall EQ and feel. Is that the design intent?

All of the above is based on feeding a Les Paul into it then into a clean Fender and a warm Marshall.
