Received a shipping notice for the hand wired Eternity burst and the long due EPH-3. Stoked.
Tried my Purple Plexi Plus on bass today, and it works great! What a killer pedal!
. YYes I checked the spam filter. I PM'd you, thanks!
This has my attention !
No bro-country for me either Jakeboy. Hank Jr. and Waylon still rule the bars, barns, and dives I play at.
I tried the SS and Wampler Tumnus combo again tonight and I'll go with that for now. Also added a Babyface Trem and EchoBaby to the mix and they all sounded tight. I don't need much more than that really. Still thinking about the Rotary Reverb for next SNS though.
Ya the LG MOS keeps calling my name too. The idea of sustain even at low gain grabs me.
Guitar tuna is the 1 I use. Hasn't replaced any tuners but I've used it when I was lazy and the others weren't around.
I use a clip on. It's just fine. I have two pedal-based tuners. Rarely if ever use them.
Clip on tuners don't work on stage mid song. They pick up vibes from other instruments. But in the basement they are all I use.
I guess I am lucky mine works, then. Because zero problem and i do about 180 gigs a year.
My daughter needed a picture of herself as a baby for school. But all those pics - and all the pics of her brothers all through the years - are on a hard drive that physically failed recently.
Thankfully, those pictures are also on a backup drive. So a few minutes later, the picture she wanted is in her possession.
This is your kind reminder from your cyber-neighborhood geek to please, please back up those files that are basically irreplaceable.
So i finally got my Lovepedal Grey Ghost (Gold) past EU customs from the SNS back in November. Been a long wait and the dissapointment is real. I was hoping for abit more open and less middy overdrive than my Amp 11 Golds overdrive side. But ... they sound pretty much totally the same when adjusted that way. Its like a Amp 11 but without the COT boost side. ive tested this throughly and they are so similar that changing a tortex pick from 60 to 73 mm changes the sound wayu more thanthan ABing these pedals. Dynamics, EQ, gain etc is excactly the same. They both sounds good but its the same pedal wihtout boost. Bummer
Ha! That's a great story.
Did you leave out the part where you married
and lived happily ever after???
Now when the Grim Reaper comes around I am just
going to imagine him as ornery and in pain from a bad
Clint forgot something.
BTW If @MAGICboy is still taking requests, I need a good and simple looper pedal.
Wish you nothing but the best outcome and most positive
of all outcomes whatever route you go. I can't imagine
what it would be like to have to deal with that kind of
pain 24/7. I only had a couple of days of back spasms
and I told my son, "This is exhausting."
Wishing you relief in the New Year!
I'm surprised to read this, and wonder what other folks are hearing. I didn't have the Gold 11 but did have the Cream 11 which AFAIK is the same. It didn't sound anything like my Gold Ghost. Not even close. I got rid of the 11, found it very sterile sounding and kind of boring LOL. (Most folks seem to love these though). The GG is a favorite very big and open to my ears.
Me too, and they are really really similar i cant even tell them apart not in the slightest. Atleast not anymore than what could be the same pedal with part tolerences making up for minimal differences. They act behave and respond the same through a fairly clean Princeton Reverb at 4-5. Infact if one was to be abit more open id say it was the AMP 11 but than i adjust the volume a little nudge on the other and they are equal again.
What is an LG MOS?
