Saw my first Leafs game in Home territory. @Jiminvan should appreciate this. :D

Much better than seeing them in Vancouver!

So I ended up with 2 boards - a big one and a small one. The two main constants on both boards is the Purple Plexi and the SS SRV mod. Lots of other Lovepedals (and other brands) have come and gone but these are two of the best pedals I've played, hands down. I'm really liking the sound I'm getting from either one pushed by an Emma ReezaFRATzitz. Here's the SS and Emma. I love how it gets really mean with the volume all the way up but cleans up beautifully with the guitar knob.

If I could play half that well I'd be pretty dang pleased with myself, I'll tell you what!

Also, glorious tones for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Meanwhile, I figured I'd test my burnt finger to see how it's healing... cheated and used a nylon string guitar to lessen the impact on the index finger of the fretting hand. Nowhere near back to normal, but at least I got to play!

Nice. How many pedals did you sell to afford the seats?!

thanks, yeah it's the newer 18. The cab is actually an oversized Mather cab. It was built for a 15" speaker but I swapped a 1x12 baffle in and loaded it with a WGS Vet 30. Weighs next to nothing and I love the way it sounds

You burnt your fingers? I missed that, sorry to hear of your injury and hope you are up to full speed and steel strings soon!

Also, while I have your attention, are you still digging your Quilter? I thought I remembered you getting the Quilter 45 and wondered if you were gigging with it and how you were using it?

None! They were $40 each. Nosebleeds but still worth it.

Looks like a new amp in there, too, eh? :)

    Congrats! :aok

Can get quite a range of tones with the SRV Mod and
    Purple Plexi. :)

I think it's cool for folks to note how high the unity volume
is on the SRV Mod as compared to the SS Grey/Gold Ghost
and Purple Plexi. I get unity at around 2:00 or so on the SRV
and unity on the GGSS is around 9:00-ish. Big difference!

Got my 5e3 Deluxe today, along with the Lil China. :dude
I've plugged them for a few minutes and the 5e3 sounded warmer than what I could remember.
Have some mods been applied to the circuit or is it just my ears/memory ? :huh

I didn't know what to expect from the Hand-Wired Lil China, but some familiar COT50'ish flavour.
I tried it into a very clean amp and couldn't hear anything but a volume boost.
    No grit.
Is it normal or does mine have a problem ? :huh

Thanks, yeah I burnt the top of the index finger on the fretting hand. Makes it difficult to play to say the least. But its slowly getting better so I am grateful for that.

Regarding the Quilter, I have two. A ToneBlock 200 and the small, pedal-sized one. The former I'm gonna keep. The latter I'm gonna sell. Nothing wrong with it, I actually dig it, but I just don't need a backup at the moment. I would not hesitate to gig either of those two amps, though. I was not thinking I would like Quilter but I am convinced now. The proof is in the pudding.
