I played a casino gig Friday night with my hd500/dt50 setup. Both my clean and dirty patches used the Park 75 model. The soundman came to me after sound check and said it was one of the best sounding amps he had ever heard when using a direct out. Last week I switched over my main patches to the Park 75 and was looking forward to playing through the sound system at the casino. After our first break he told me he texted some friends and told them he was listening to the first Line 6 amp he had ever heard that sounded like a tube amp. I said "It is a tube amp, just without all the noise" hahaha. Pm me if you want to try the patches. I played all night in LVM at about 1 o'clock. I used a Stratocaster with neck pup for cleans and bridge for the dirty patches.

The more I hear the more I need to get a DT50. Want want want!

I actually keep tossing up between the DT50 and 25. I have a 50 watt amp right now that's just too loud everywhere, but then again it's non-master volume. Arrggh!!!!

I think the DT25 would be fine. I have yet to get my DT50 out of LVM. (low volume mode) We do try to keep the volume under control though, and I like knowing I have more if I need it.

Does the casino have a really low stage volume requirement? I find the LVM doesn't sound nearly as good as the regular mode even at moderately low stage volume. I only use LVM at home... ymmv.

Yes. They want it quite as possible. I think LVM sounds pretty good when you get it turned up louder. I believe at some point the cab emulation gives way to 25 watt tube. The cab emulated direct out is awesome...sounds sweet!

I don't have anything with the dt50 recorded yet...but I will when I have time. We are trying to get a few people to record a gig next weekend. If so I'll get something posted as soon as I can. You are more than welcome to the patches if you want to try them.

I got a returned e-mail from someone. If you didn't get those patches pm me with a good e-mail and I'll send them. The e-mail had a yahoo address. I deleted my TGP messages so I don't know who it is.
