One of the cable stations I get just started running Three Stooges episodes and they are still a guaranteed 3 or 4 big belly laughs each episode. But the real point here is the valuable life lessons that the episodes teach. Here's a couple of my favorites:

    1. There is a reason that 3 level bunk beds have fallen out of favor.
    2. You can be shot in the rear end and not suffer any life threatening injuries- however, you will most likely have a considerable amount of smoke coming from the injuries.
    3. There's almost always a Seltzer bottle handy.

    Any others?

As a kid they were still big news, at that time.
I and/or they faded but were well remembered, popping up occasionally in my own kids time.
So somebody gave me a dvd of Stooge shows some years ago and I could not get through it.
Too much of their routine repeats, certainly does not withstand repeated views, however, as period pieces they are great flashbacks to my parents' time and era that was fading quickly during my childhood. A nostalgia trip, for sure, now.

Small doses is a key for me too, still a lot of chuckles but a half hour is my limit.
And oddly, the abuse heaped on Curly was hilarious but his replacements thru the years, it just seemed wrong somehow. Weird.
Elementary school with Stooges routines on the playground was a childhood staple. :)

    1) Never light a match during a blackout fight and 2) always be careful with the furniture.

Catered dinner events typically include more pies than attendees.

Repeated corporal punishment does not always lead to changes in behavior.

In a pinch, a meat grinder can double as a machine gun, just dump bullets in and crank it. ( It also helps if you're a monkey).
