    1. There was a trim pot for Volume for the 'Boost' channel.
    2. Each channel could be used independently.

Also, does anyone here have manuals for the Tim and Timmy in PDF form, that could email them to me? michael.geoffrey@gmail.com

    Cheers.

The effects loop could be assigned to both channels OR to the boost channel alone, so you could add a different eq to channel B only, for a different tone.

It isn't a dual channel pedal. The Boost simply adds "more" pulling out the boosts gain has will drop the voltage for even more compression/drive. I think it is perfect enough, especially for the MODEST price.... come on guys...

honestly.... i'm a critic, and i hate that about my personality. but the TIM is about as good as it gets. you can nitpick this and that, but reality is its one of the best pedals on the market for its price (not the 'used' price, the new price: though the used price reflects that). Props to Paul for explaining the basic features of my TIM and helping me to bring it back to life.

Tim is the bees knees, although I don't use the effects loop yet, myself.

Nothing wrong with a little constructive criticism guys. I agree the Tim is just about perfect, but I can also see a trimpot for the boost volume being handy. Don't really think using each individually would be terribly useful though. I bet if you called Paul and asked him he would do a custom job for you, assuming its possible.

A huge +1. I also agree that he'd probably do a "custom" one for someone. I talked to him about a month ago. He is a great guy.

the TIM was not originally designed as a double stomper. The boost switch was internal and was a "more gain" switch for general operation. Paul C added it as a second footswitch by request but it is not really a two-in-one pedal like some double stompers are....still the longest running pedal on my board, I got one of the very first ones and it isn't going anywhere! Most useful pedal I have for sure...

I love my Tim, I've had it almost a year, and it's not going anywhere.

Just buy 2 timmy's and you're there. $210 for two Timmy's is a steal. Tim is only $155...so for only $55 more you get what you want...
