The new "season" of The Voice starts tonight and, while I will watch, I'm started to see a trend of Blake's artists, and/or the country artist, winning, and then that artist having no commercial success afterwards....so, I'm skeptical. Maybe its because the people vote for the winners?......anyone else?

Loved the first few seasons, myself. I enjoy the talent, to an extent but I've grown tired of it. Cassadee Pope was the last one who really left an impression with me.

    Yes.

Too many karaoke shows to begin with and none of the winners ever amount to anything.

I don't have a problem with the voice. The level of talent last season was the best yet.

I agree that Cassadee Pope was the last one with any star appeal. The last couple seasons didn't have anyone that stood out at all to me.

None of the winners have really had huge success yet.

I think the problem the Voice has is this.... when will anyone that wins actually become a star?

Not every winner from American Idol has hit... but several have gone on to huge success... and several top ten people have even gone onto success.

The Voice has done nothing so far.

Danielle Bradbery has gone on to open for a few country stars and I think could be a moderate country star.

The guy who just won the last one has star potential if they get him the right material to work with. He's a strong singer and performer.... all have had talent, but no one has hit it big yet.

I think these singers tonite are picking Blake more because he's won so many times than because he's the best coach for them....its a strategy..

AI has found and produced superstars. Watching the Oscars last night and there's Jennifer Hudson, an AI runner up and Oscar winner, giving a powerhouse vocal performance.

The Voice is about the entertainment value of the judges, not finding talent and producing superstars.

And that's why it bored me from day one.

As cheesy as AI is, the fact is I'm a sucker for the story of talented kids chasing their dreams.

I think the record shows that a lot of Voice people have found a place in the industry. Maybe Y'all need some estrogen or somethin'. I mean if half the members on here had half the talent some of these folks had . . . hell I'd be happy with that at my age.
