Just wanted to share a little tune from my last project. This is a rough track from the rehearsal space the second time we got together. I still shake my head at his talent.

This was the first time I experienced what a really good voice could do for a band. Clubs and festivals called immediately when we dropped off a demo and several local stations started spinning songs from a CD.

I read a thread recently where someone asked "What do you mean by amazing vocals?" and it made me think of our singer......I've rarely been in a room where the voice could take over as much as with this guy.

It becomes very difficult to settle once you've experienced a high quality vocalist.

    To me, he's incredible. :)

    Great singer you got there...

This guy is a local legend.

Listen to "Cool Water" for a taste of what a really great singer can do.

I produced this record with him - we were getting ready to track some vocals and he was sitting on the studio couch eating Doritos and drinking milk.

Got up, went out and cut this in one take, with no warm up.

I asked - "How the hell do you do that?"

He said - "I get up in the morning, sing a little and figure that's what I've got to work with that day."

Yeah, that's a wonderful voice! It's amazing what some people can do vocally...the effect on others is great to watch as well. People just melt! :)

Hey, thanks! That all came together quickly with that project. Even the rough early stuff left me feeling like it was a special experience. :)
