Coming in from the other side of the world, my 50th B-day present to myself:
    https://reverb.com/item/31288008-ra...igen-fuji-gen-usa-hm-strat-hms?show_sold=true

Thought about what to get for a long time now, threw out the birth year thing because anything that was interesting to my was out of my price range so I decided to go with something I gassed for as a young player. With Fender announcing the reissue I was pretty stoked, but I didnt like some of the changes they made so I went for a original.
I still have my old Fender Frontline that featured these that I used to stare at like it was a girlie mag. I dug it out last night, it'll have to do until the guitar comes in.

    Nice!

I've always loved that headstock logo. In a cheesy, 80's way, it's totally bitc#in'!

Nice , probably probably better then the first round of spare parts from Japan ones that they built in the USA like I have. Great guitar but it could easily have been better and I am sure you will REALLY like it.

but it's even harder to not have something to wait for.

No joke... It gets more and more painful as it gets closer... with the pinnacle being sitting around 'holding it in' because you don't want to go to the bathroom and mis the delivery guy.

Yeah no kidding, lol. I haven't even looked at the tracking # yet because I figure it will be at least a week before it gets here. I'll start that (and the sweating) next week!

Whoa, that was fast! Just got in from work, attempted delivery notice on my door. The post office is literally across the street from my, it's killing me that it's right there and I have to wait until 1 o'clock tomorrow !

Congrats on the New/old guitar Monty.

I remember wanting one of those back in the day.

I remember seeing ads for them in Guitar World and Guitar Player.

I'm sure that's going to be a killer guitar.

Enjoy it and post some good pics of it.

I love to see some .

Thank you! Pics are a problem, but I might take a stab at it.
I woke up 2 hours before my alarm this morning which I never do on a Saturday, I'm just pumped, lol.
