The Wampler 57 is it any different than another dirt pedal?

Have been looking at the Wampler 57 pedal. Can't really hear online if it's any different than an OCD, Box of Rock, etc.

    Any thoughts?

It's fet-based, and does not have an op-amp. It would then be closer to the Box of Rock than the OCD. It has a full tonestack. The schematic looks like an amp but with fet stages.

So can I get the tones from it through the Box of Rock or will there be tone differences?

It's quite different than the box of rock. The box of rock is cascaded mosfets which will sound and feel different than Jfets. Also, the tone controls are quite a bit different as well. I'd say the box of rock by comparison is probably more Marshall-esque rather than tweed-esque.
