Themed Pedal Boards?

Ive seen plenty of boards of all the same builder, and color schemes.
Notably the Black-out board from the "Neaest Board" thread, and I saw a White-out that Dan (This1smyne) did for a customer.
Im considering just doing something a little different with a theme, but wonder what pedals are available with my theme? I'm thinking ocean/sea/boats/etc

Start with a Mayflower and end with a Wet. Everything in between is negotiable. And id love to get something like this JHS Panther

Suggestions and pics of themed boards would be cool

how about a pedal board that follows the theme of great sounding, practical, and useable for your current needs?

Oh come on! Don't be like that. There are so many effect pedal choices out there, the OP can easily find stuff he likes with a cool theme going on...

For me, I keep bright colors off my board. Don't know why, it's probably because I prefer earth tones and blues in pretty much every color choice I have in my life. I've currently got neutral colors (grey black white) with greens and blues. Its silly yeah, but kinda cool too!

Jack White did his completely in copper.
In the 70s ABBA had their Cornish boards finished in white (for their all white stage) by Pete himself, I understand it was the one and only time he ever used anything other black.

If I could I would go with a "big black box" theme and have everything built into a single Cornish style, custom unit.

:huh Because practicality never crossed my mind and this is The Gear Page, when has practicality ever been reasonable? ;)

Not saying I will do it, would be tough to drop some of my pedals and buy others, mostly just wanted to see if I could do it. And see what other people have out there, mostly for fun.

Sea Blue EQ?

I'd do a western themed board. I've got a Spaghetti Western fuzz. Just need the trem footswitch from my Princeton and I'm golden. Maybe sarape around the edges, distressed wood in the middle and a cattle brand in the corner.

I'm planning to setup a PT-nano as a travel board, to be portable and cover most of my bases with an OD, Fuzz, boost and delay. I have a KOT that's not on my main board, so I thought, why not use that and give it a "monarch" theme:

Black Arts Pharaoh --> Analogman King of Tone --> Empress Vintage Modified Superdelay.

I wouldn't do this unless I was 100% happy with all the pedals. This one ticks the boxes for me.

BJFE sea blue eq
Earthquaker devices sea machine...

I once thought it would be fun to do a pedalboard with a green color theme--I had a Barber Tone pump (green lettering), a Damage Control Timline and a BJFE EGDM :)

Their is nothing wrong with trying to have the most well put together (neatest) or really trying to support a certain builder or company, but colors or word themes are lost on me...

BUT...
id have one with the following signal chain...

sex drive
camel toe
swollen pickle
wet
super hard on
aqua puss
euphoria
ecstacy
money shot
crybaby

How about a Deep Blue Delay?

I'd do a western themed board. I've got a Spaghetti Western fuzz. Just need the trem footswitch from my Princeton and I'm golden. Maybe sarape around the edges, distressed wood in the middle and a cattle brand in the corner.

I know it's got some mixed reviews, but a BBE Boosta Grande would work great for a western board.

Double post I know, but any self-respecting 'monarch' board has to have an EQD MONARCH right?

Interesting. What other pedals were you considering?

I did look through some pedal lists for others that fit the theme, but I couldn't find many. King of the Britains came to mind, but I used to own one and wasn't 100% happy. But basically I liked the KOT and the Pharaoh, and these covered all the dirt requirements I needed, and just wanted a delay to complete the board that was in line with the theme. The VMSD is the only one I found that does.

Double post I know, but any self-respecting 'monarch' board has to have an EQD MONARCH right?

I hadn't heard of that one!

Don't really need an EQ, or chorus. In fact I keep most modulation of my board. I use about 2 ODs a fuzz, delay and reverb. trem from time to time.

Finding a fuzz in this theme might be harder than I thought

You must include this, in jalapeno green of course.

I've seen some boards that had all the pedals rehoused in all white boxes with black knobs. Looked amazing. I know it's all about sound but looks are fun too.
