This thread can be the central clearinghouse of Tele Bridge threads. I'll update it periodically.

Yes. This thread is the most compelling and informative.

I like the bridge on my Fender Nocaster. Is that not good. Seems like these aftermarket bridges get all the glory when it was the those Fender boys down in the trenches that did all the hard work. Am I wrong?

I can always stand a little educating.

That bridge does not look like an American Series/Stabdard. They do not have the lip on the end. They also do not coem through with knobs like that. Is that a parts guitar?

Anyone know a good source for Custom Classic and/or 8502 bridge assemblies, obviously other than reliablefender/stratosphere?

Will my local Fender dealer be able to get me a few, if I put him in my will?

The bridge assemblies I do not prefer are the Am Se/8402 versions; the AS assemblies seem better. As always, Nuttin like a vintage config 3 brass but a little variety is always needed.

    Much obliged,

    Bubbanov

Good question...AFAIK you can't buy CS parts and not too many people part them out. I had my eye on a parted out Nocaster bridge and it went for around $100 to give you an idea (the neck went for $1200! and the body $600) Maybe you could get an older '82-87 standard bridge which is similar in design sans the lip.
