What are some of the most useful thing you could put on a pedalboard for the regular gigging musician that arn't pedals, and wouldn't take up TOO much space.

So far all i can think of would be a clock (gotta know when bedtime is) and a fan (for the Steve Vai impressions..and to keep cool i guess).

Anything else practical anyone can think of

    Cheers!

A slide, sets of strings, and a capo. You could also throw on an easy button.

Been toying with a mic stand base. I haven't tried it, yet, but have a desktop mic stand base, which I thought I'd rig for threading a mic stand into.

Get an altoids tin or something similar (smaller size would be even better), put some velcro on the back, and keep your picks in it.
