Thinking about going back to a Timeline - what unique delay would you pair with it?

I run myself in circles. :bonk

Right now I'm running an El Cap and a big box DMM. Kind of missing the presets on the Timeline.

I love the DMM, but the noise and the inability to power it with a power supply is cramping my style a bit.

I figure I could sell the El Cap and the DMM and get a Timeline and something else pretty significantly awesome. But what?

    A few guidelines:

-I'm on a PT-Pro so it can be bigger, but not like Flashback x4 big
    -Tap Tempo preferred, please

-I'm mainly asking digital so I can have a totally quiet rig. If you think there's an analog delay that I should consider, let me know. I'd love a DMMTT1100 but that's a LITTLE out of my range

-Doesn't need presets, so it can have less bells and whistles

-Can create some complimentary sounds that doesn't overlap TOO much with the Timeline

    Aaaaaaaand go

MLJR, Quantum Leap, and Counterpoint all bring something different to the TL sound. A little more magic, I think. Or the Memory Lane 2 if you want something kind of like the DMM. In any case, something from Diamond, haha.

Thought about the Altar Ego x4 - its the same price. Although that would go against my parameters since it's the same size as the Flashback x4 right?

I like the Diamonds suggested above...and while it doesn't have tap tempo, the Skreddy Echo is an incredible delay. Its voicing is unique and it sets so well in the mix.

Thought about this one, but it would be substantially out of range after selling the two and buying the Timeline. May still consider.

i pair my Timeline with my DE7. Occasionally I add a Memory Lane Jr or Carbon Copy if the setlist demands it.

    ah true.

i also cannot recommended the ehx smmh enough for a weird, unique digital delay.

its normal digital delays aren't great, but the multi tap and reverse are outstanding. Can do like filteredflangereversestutter kinda stuff and its mad.

I stopped pairing my timeline with anything and started using the dual setting a lot more, or using that awesome verby patch on bank 12 for long decay ambient stuff.

The more I tried to justify a second delay with it the more I realized "I paid all this cash for it...why not use it more".

Unless you can find one for a damn good price (like the one I have in the emporium) shameless self advertising, haha.

Pairing the Timeline w/ an ML Jr. I used to have a DMM before it but downsized to a PT Jr

+1 and the reverse delay kills the Timeline's reverse. Red Panda Particle could be cool too.
Maybe also look at the OBNE Black Fountain delay.
