I just purchased an imac and I'm really excited about. It's so easy to use and quick as hell. Today I was trying to learn how to use imovie and figured I might as well record a little demo.

It's nothing fancy, since I own no recording gear. It's just my mac with the build in mic and video. there's a little bit of distortion here and there and it's a little compressed since it's youtube. However, I think that amp I got from Henry is really versatile and natural sounding so I thought I'd share.

It's a 40 watt cathode biased all tube head(Tung-Sol 6L6str) with reverb and no choke. I'm using a ****** cheap Eminence speaker with no name I had laying around(sorry). It's all I had at the moment so I stuck it in there. It's a strat with Curtis Novak pickups and Callaham parts and the new Sperzel sound lock tuners, and yes! they did change my tone.

I might do it over to fix the distortion issue.

Great demo, your imac did a great job picking up the amp.
I love that tone ... I am looking to rebuild a strat copy that I have,
I'll have to look into the Novak pickups.
Your neighbors must love you ;)

Thanks for listening guys. The Curtis Novaks are the best strat pups I've ever had in my guitars. They are under-wound and sounds beautiful while still retaining a nice bite. I've tried many other brands and never been happy. I just don't like overwound pups since I think they take the character of the guitar away and make them all sound alike.

I was also pretty amazed with the imac natural sound and great video. Pretty cool stuff I think. Unfortunately I can't record much cause of my neighbors ...LOL!

I liked that, real nice grove! And I think that amp is a nice fit. How does it sound at stage volume and in the mix? Is there still control of the amount of dirt with the Master up high?

plenty of control, all you need. And remember, Henry custom builds every amp to each individual need. It's the true meaning of the word custom

I really liked the sound from that equipment.

    However:
I think this was the first time in a long time, I really listened to the whole demo. Just because I was enjoying it.
That was one of the most tasteful playing I have heard this year.
    Hats off !!!!
