This is how every Les Paul should sound IMO

I picked out one with the same tonal characteristics, this is exactly what I want to hear from a Les Paul, why can't every les paul just sound like this?

I just see a white empty square above. I don't know if it'd top the great LP I just sold yesterday. It was amazing, light, clear and powerful and just would sing.

The craziest part, it was an Epi. From the 80's. Was better in every way compared to several Historics.

There have been some great LP tones over the years. I'm a big fan of EC's Beano tone, especially on Hideaway.
The one that really got my attention lately is the vid of Larry Carlton playing his goldtop with Keb Mo. I love his sound on the intro.

Yeah, that is a great tone. Larry makes everything sound great.

Mike Bloomfield's played his Les Paul through a Fender amp - nothing wrong with his tone.
