Ok... this the last one for a while. Getting burnt out and still a bit to go to finish up recording the rest of this shed-fest waist-of-time CD. But I had to share this... I recorded the beginning before doing the guitar tracks... and spend almost an hour just trying to play the first part because I couldn't stop laughing (and muting didn't work because I knew what was there).

Hope you laugh as much as I did...

    Some kinda funny $h1t

P.S. Forgive the solo in the middle of the song... it was a one-take improv thingie... oh.. and this one is not mixed... I have said this before haven't I?

    PAF --

Sorry I missed that in the other post. I haven't played in a band in the local area in a good 8 or so years. I play open mics when I can... believe it or not I actually play blues mostly (you'de probably never guess in a million years after listening to this stuff). You wouldn't reconize me as the same player hearing any of that... but it's where my real passion is. I'll post a sample in another thread when I can find it.

Yep I hear quite a bit of Jason Becker in this piece too! Great stuff as always!

 Thats was cool. What amp are you using, I really like your tone!

I have heard a few of the other tracks you recorded and I'm now a fan.

Will I be able to purchase the album when it is finished? I hope so!

Sorry for asking but could you give me a few playing tips?

I've recently hit a bit of a rut with my lead playing. Im pretty damn fast and quite fluid and can rip up and down scales no problem, but all my patterns seem a bit one dimentional. I really like the way you phrase the fast descending runs (especially in the woodshed piece). How do you do that? What kind of patterns do you use? Sorry for asking, but my my jaw dropped when I heard those pieces.

Im not trying to be a suck up, I was genuinley amazed at some of the stuff you pulled of in those pieces.:dude

Thanks a ton for the feedback all... hearing a comparison to Jason Becker (in anyway) is a real compliment! Man... what a sad thing that happened to him :( I really hope he is able to beat the LGD and get back to playing full-time.

tommyfobia - Ya know... that gives me a great idea. I would love to see people share their playing techniques here... So I'll get some stuff together and post tab with associated audio clips into a new thread... maybe people will do likewise and everyone will learn some new stuff!
